But the truth is, there are other ways that you don’t have to spend money to generate traffic!

There are many ways that you can bring in new traffic on a budget, even if your budget is free until your blog is bringing in enough money for you to purchase the paid products that you desire.

1. Free Traffic Generation Methods

When you give an honest effort at the following free methods ,you will see real results! I suggest you take a screen shot of your Alexa ranking and site statistics before you start. Then you can compare the results by taking another screen shot every month or two.
Blog Commenting

Commenting on other blogs is a very effective way to bring traffic to your blog. If you follow some basic rules, you will find others drawn to your blog from your comments on other blogs:

- Leave valuable comments by adding value to what the author has written. When people see that you have a lot of value to offer they will want to see what other gems you are sharing on your blog.
- Respond to the post content. If you haven’t read the post it will be obvious to everyone who reads your comment. You will look bad, and people will be repelled from your blog.
- Be respectful with your tone and words, especially if you have a differing opinion from the author – it is acceptable to disagree.

If you are serious about generating traffic, you will want to comment at least 8-10 times a day or at least 40-50 times a week. Comment on blogs in your direct niche as well as blogs that are in similar niches. You want people to recognize your name and your face!

Be sure to get around to different blogs, not always commenting on the same ones day after day and week after week. Though it’s perfectly fine to have regulars – that is a great way to build relationships with other bloggers. You want to have a good balance between regulars and new or less frequent blogs.

2. Join Social Networks

Join as many of the social networks as you can keep up with. Try some new ones ,because they all offer something different and you may end up really liking one that you didn’t want to try. If you find that you really do not like one then try another. Use the ones that work best for you! Social networks are a great way to promote your posts and meet like-minded people.

There are many that you can join. Some of the bigger ones are Facebook, Twitter, Digg, StumbleUpon, and LinkedIn. Look around. There are a lot of social networks that you can join and many niche-focused networks are becoming popular as well.

Voting sites are a great way to network with others as well, and they often offer a lot of ways to build community. Two voting sites that I really like are Blokube and Serpd. Both offer voting buttons that you can put on your posts so that your readers can vote for your post. They also offer commenting on the site and a sense of community.

3. Create a Free Report

A quick way to make a free report is to gather some of your best material from your blog and combine them into an ebook. Put links to your blog into the book and give it away on your blog, sharing the link on your social media sites. You can also add your ebook to one of the many free ebook sites which accept submissions.

4. Learn Basic SEO

Learning basic SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is not nearly as intimidating as learning all the ins and the outs of SEO. Once you learn the basics then you can move on to learning the more complicated and intimidating aspects.

Use the Google Keyword Tool to research your keywords for free. Use the free SEO plugins that are available in your WordPress dashboard such as the All in One SEO plugin and the Clean SEO Slugs plugin. Using these plugins will help you to optimize your blog for SEO simply and easily until you learn more about it.

5. Forum Marketing

Establishing yourself as an expert in your niche through the use of forums or message boards can be a valuable tool in bringing people to your blog. You should have the goal to start one new thread a day or five throughout the week in addition to replying to other posts.

If the forum allows links in your signature you can have a link directly to your blog, but don’t blatantly promote your blog in the posts. You want to instead establish yourself as an expert through the posts that you write. Direct people to your signature which should have not only the link but a little blurb about yourself and your expertise.

- Create videos on Youtube
– Write guest posts on similar blogs
– Join a tribe
– Link to other blog posts in your posts

In February of 1995, I was sitting on the floor late at night, watching Salat Tarawih on television, live from Mecca. (Salat Tarawih prayers are optional prayers performed at night during the fasting month of Ramadan). I listened to the commentators speaking Indonesian. That year, there were approximately 3 million people in the mosque and surrounding areas (which included the outdoor courtyard, the nearby streets, and even some hotel lobbies), and they were all doing salat (prayers) together. Three million people, all doing the same prayer, facing the same direction (kiblat), following one leader (imam), praying with the same words, in the same language, at the same time and all of them were praying to the same God. I began to think, “Where is there anything like this in the west?” If people gather for a soccer match, then the most that can be in one stadium is around one hundred thousand. I had never seen so many people in one place, doing the same thing, at the exact same time, in the same language and all moving in unison. This was a truly unparalleled sight. Until now, I still have not found anything similar in the western world.

I began to wonder about how many people could gather in one building to hear the Pope speak. I wondered if all of them would be able to understand what he was saying because there is no unifying language for Christians from all over the world to pray together in. There was no comparison in Christianity with what I was watching on television from Mecca.

For one year, I continued to learn bits and pieces about Islam, not in a formal or serious way, but just by paying attention to what I saw around me. When Islamic clerics gave short speeches on television, I would listen. I thought about what they were saying. There was nothing that I could find fault with. Slowly, I began to understand more and more about Islam. By the end of 1995, I was finding it harder and harder to refuse Islam. I kept searching for a logical flaw in the basic teachings of Islam but I simply could not find one. Islam was just too clear, too logical and was obviously based on common sense.

Finally, I felt like I had no choice. I could not keep denying what I had learned about Islam. I made a decision. I had to become a Muslim. But that made me think about my future. My time at the University of Indonesia was almost over. I would have to go back to Australia and work there. Could I learn about Islam if I lived there? Would I be able to find a teacher? Would I be able to find somewhere to pray? How many mosques were there in Brisbane? How would I cope with being a Muslim by myself? The more I thought about it the more it seemed to me that I had no choice but to stay in Indonesia so that I could be surrounded by Muslims. At last, I made a choice: I was going to become a Muslim and live in Indonesia. Now that I had made my decision, I just had to work out the details.

In February 1996, I said syahadat and became a Muslim. I forget when exactly I told my parents that I had become a Muslim. But I do remember that it was not until a few months afterwards, and by that time, I was already committed and able to pray by myself. I am sure they must have thought that I had lost my mind. But alhamdulillah (thank God), they accepted my decision and never said a bad word about Islam to me. I was still considered a member of the family and they did not do anything to make me feel unwelcome at home. That was quite different from the numerous stories I had heard in Indonesia about Christians who converted to Islam, and then were beaten up, thrown out of their house and disowned by their own family. My family probably thought that I was “crazy”, but the same thing was also said about the Prophet Muhammad SAW by the Quraish tribe of Mecca, so in that context, being called “crazy” would be more like a compliment.

In a stunning reversal of fortunes, Omar Suleiman, the new vice-president, announced in a televised address on Friday evening that the president was “waiving” his office, and had handed over authority to the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces.

Suleiman’s short statement was received with a roar of approval and by celebratory chanting and flag-waving from a crowd of hundreds of thousands in Cairo’s Tahrir Square, as well as by other pro-democracy campaigners who were attending protests across the country for 18 days.

The top figure in Egypt’s new regime is now Field Marshal Mohammed Hussein Tantawi, the country’s defence minister. After the announcement, he drove past Mubarak’s former palace, where crowds cheered him. He stopped briefly to thank and hail the pro-democracy campaigners before driving in.

In its third statement to the nation since Thursday, the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces said it was examining the situation “in order to materialize the aspirations of our great nation”.

The statement said that “resolutions and statements regarding the … actions to be followed” in order to achieve the demands of the people will be handed down later.

In the televised address, the spokesman also extended “greetings and appreciation” to Mubarak for his service to the country, and saluted the “martyrs and those who have fallen” during the protests.

Hosni Mubarak’s Dictatorship History

Hosni Mubarak is the fourth and current president of Egypt. He was born on May 4, 1928, in Kafr-al Meselha, the son of an inspector of the Ministry of Justice. Mubarak was educated at Egypt’s national Military Academy and Air Force Academy and at the Frunze General Staff Academy in Moscow.

Under Egyptian president Anwar al-Sadat, Mubarak served in a number of military posts, including deputy minister of war from 1972 to 1975; in 1975, he became vice president. After Sadat was assassinated, on October 6, 1981, Mubarak became president. He instituted a vigorous economic recovery program; remained committed to the peace treaty with Israel (signed in 1979); mended relations with other Arab states, which were damaged after Egypt’s peace with Israel; and initiated a policy he called “positive neutrality” toward the great powers.

He was reelected when his National Democratic Party won the October 1987 elections and was thus able to nominate him as the sole candidate for president. With serious economic problems and rising Islamic fundamental opposition at home, Mubarak continued to seek an end to the stalemate that had developed between Israel and Arab nations; in 1988 he visited the United States for talks on that subject.

Mubarak, supported the 1990 United Nations (UN) sanctions against Iraq when that country invaded Kuwait, orchestrated Arab League opposition to the invasion, committed about 38,500 troops to the anti-Iraq coalition in the Persian Gulf War (1991), and supported postwar efforts to achieve peace in the Middle East.

Reelected in 1993, Mubarak cracked down on Muslim fundamentalist opposition groups after an upsurge in guerrilla violence by Islamic extremists. Mubarak survived an assassination attempt unharmed in June 1995 in the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa. Five of the assailants were killed during or after the ambush and three escaped to Sudan, which is widely believed to have sponsored the attack. In November 1995, just before parliamentary elections, Mubarak’s government accused the Muslim Brotherhood of helping violent Islamic groups. Many of the Muslim Brotherhood’s members were arrested, and several who planned to run in the elections or monitor them were tried and sentenced to prison. Critics accused the government of trying to eliminate even peaceful opponents. In the elections that followed, Mubarak’s National Democratic Party won an overwhelming victory. Mubarak was elected to a fourth six-year term in 1999.

Mubarak was elected to his fifth consecutive term as president in September 2005. The election was the first contested presidential election in Egypt’s history, with official results showing Mubarak won 88.6% of the votes cast, however civil organizations observing the elections and the Egyptian Organization for Human Rights reported mass rigging activities, bought votes and fraud. Ayman Nour, a candidate for the Al-Ghad (Tomorrow) party, contested the election results on September 8, 2005. In a move widely seen as political persecution, Nour was convicted of forgery and sentenced to five years at hard labor on December 24, 2005.

Mass protests in Egypt calling for Mubarak’s resignation began on January 25, 2011. Violence in the streets quickly escalated between Mubarak supporters and the opposition following his February 1, 2011, announcement that though he would not seek another term in the presidential elections scheduled for September 2011, he would not resign from his post.

That’s a question I hear quite a lot from my entrepreneur clients—and from random people I meet who find out what I do.

Now, some ideas may seem like winners right off the bat. And they may be. But you don’t want to invest a ton of time and money based solely on an assumption. Because we all know what happens when you assume anything.

So before you go forth launching your latest thing, you need some evidence that it is something people are interested in. And more importantly, that there are enough people who want it—and would be willing and able to buy it for a price that keeps you in business.

That means doing a bit of research, and maybe even testing the market. Just because you aren’t a big corporation with a ginormous budget burning a hole in your pocket, doesn’t mean you can’t do your due diligence.

Now, if you’ve created something based on solving your own problems or filling your own needs you’re probably off to a good start. Ditto if lots of your friends or family members have told you they want whatever it is when you show it to them.

But you still want to do a little research on the Internet, at the library, or even the local magazine rack.

Here are five questions you need to answer:

1) Does anyone else already sell or offer what you have in mind (or something really similar)?

If so, this is a great sign. Because it means chances are good someone out there is buying it.

If no one offers what you want to sell, this is a red flag. Because instead of just explaining why they should buy from you instead of someone else, you have to explain why they should want it in the first place.

However, it’s not a deal breaker. As long as you can confirm there is an interested market for what you want to sell, and that it solve a pressing pain or problem, there’s no reason not to move forward. Because if you can be the first—and take over a good share of the market—you’ll be in a terrific position as it takes off.

2) How many people sell it?

Competition is good. Too much competition can be a problem. But it’s a fine line.

If the market for your idea is enormous then there is plenty of room for competition. And if you have a unique twist, benefit or feature to what you are offering, then competition is not a huge concern. You just have to market your idea to highlight the key difference so you stand out from the crowd.

3) What, exactly, are they selling and how does it compare to what you are offering?

Make a list of the features and benefits of your idea, then a list of your competition’s features and benefits. That way you can easily see what makes your product, service or business different or better.

4) Who are they selling to?

You can get a good idea of who your target market might be simply by looking at who your competition is selling to. This is not to say there aren’t other potential markets. Or that you definitely want to sell to the same people. But it helps to know who is buying now.

5) How much are they selling it for?

You don’t have to sell for the same price. But if you plan to ask for more money than the competition, you need to be prepared to sell the value of your offering. And to show prospects why it’s better, different or more effective/valuable than what the competitors are selling.

The last thing you want to do is sell for less just to be the lowest price. Thanks to the Internet, someone out there can almost always beat your price. Plus, it’s all too easy to undercut the competition, only to discover you’re not making enough to cover your costs—or even sustain your business.

Of course there are never any guarantees. And this is just a starting point. But once you’ve done all your research, you should have a reasonable idea as to whether or not your product, service or business has a shot.

Hal itu disampaikan presiden Islamic university of Europe Rotterdam Prof. Dr. sofjan Siregar dalam bincang-bincang dengan detikcom di Den Haag, Jumat (3/12/2010).

“Plesiran BK DPR RI ke Yunani untuk kedok studi banding etika, ternyata penuh kebohongan dan pembohongan publik. Bahkan mereka ngaku mau belajar etika, tapi mereka pula yang menginjak injak etika,” ujar Sofjan.

Menurut Sofjan, kebohongan dan pembohongan publik pertama semula mereka mengatakan hanya transit dua jam di Turki.

Kebohongan dan pembohongan kedua, pimpinan rombongan bilang terpaksa dua hari transit di Turki karena tidak ada pesawat. Dari dalih dua jam berkembang menjadi dua hari.

Kebohongan dan pembohongan ketiga dikatakan tidak ada pesawat ke Jakarta.

“Kalau BK DPR RI itu bepergian 30 tahun silam mungkin masih bisa dipercaya bahwa tidak ada connecting flight dari Turki ke Jakarta. Tapi di masa sekarang ini ke ibukota negara mana pun ada connecting flight paling sedikit lima connecting flight dari Eropa ke Jakarta, khususnya dari Turki ke Jakarta,” tandas Sofjan.

Lanjut Sofjan, untuk menutupi kebohongan itu para anggota yang berpretensi wakil rakyat itu lalu mengembangkan dalih melakukan manuver bisnis, berlagak mencari investor atau buyer furnitur.

“Ketua gerombolan dewan penipu rakyat itu pun ngomong bahwa ratusan miliar devisa akan dipasok awal januari 2011, jadi nilai tiket dan plesiran mereka tidak ada artinya, jika mereka bisa memasukkan uang ratusan miliar rupiah, kibul ketua pengkhianat rakyat itu,” kecam Sofjan.

Dikatakan, bahwa hanya di Indonesia pejabat parlemen negara bisa menyalahgunakan uang negara tidak sesuai peruntukan dan berbohong terang-terangan tanpa ada tindakan dan proses hukum.

“Jika betul Indonesia adalah negara hukum, maka para penipu dan pembohong itu seharusnya sudah ditangkap dan diperiksa,” tegas Sofjan.

Indikasi kebohongan-kebohongan tim BK DPR RI itu menurut Sofjan sudah sangat jelas, sebab tidak ada satu pun pebisnis asing yang serta merta mau transaksi miliaran rupiah hanya berdasarkan ketemu orang parlemen, apalagi cuma lisan.

Sofjan menilai klarifikasi dari pimpinan DPR RI bahwa studi banding ke Yunani tidak bermasalah dan dianggap selesai, merupakan pelecehan hukum, bukti ketidakbecusan pimpinan DPR RI dan mereka gerombolan yang setali tiga uang.

“Ini suatu delik hukum yang sangat serius. Sudah saatnya KPK menangkap gerombolan BK DPR ke Yunani untuk di proses secara hukum,” demikian Sofjan.

For example, I had a client recently ask me if it would be better to have a Facebook page instead of a dedicated Website for their business. Hello?!?! That’s so not what Facebook is about.

That means joining in on conversations by commenting on other people’s posts, and responding when people comment on yours. Asking questions. And reaching out to connect with others.

4) Create a vanity URL
Make it easier for people to find you, and for you to send them to your pages, by getting vanity URLs. That way the link to your page is facebook.com/whatever instead of a crazy long string of characters.

To do this, go to www.facebook.com/username. Remember, your main page is for you personally. If you want a page for your business you need a separate fan page.

5) Give details
If you’re going to ask someone to be your friend on Facebook, be sure to let them know why or where you know them from. You’ll get a much better response if you do this versus just sending a blank friend request.

On a similar note, if you’re going to promote an event on Facebook like a free teleseminar, don’t just put “Free teleseminar” in the title. Share the topic. Very few people are going to waste time clicking the link to find out if it’s relevant to them.

Bottom line…A little bit of detail goes a long way towards getting people to respond to you.
